Sightseeing in Bariloche - Full-Day Tour
We will pick you up in the morning to begin the tour together with our guide, we will follow route number 237, passing through a couple of streams and rivers, in order to reach Rincon Chico . From there, we will continue to Rincon Grande , bordering the Limay River, until arriving at the "Amphitheater", a curious rock formation that resembles a Roman circus. The journey continues towards the Enchanted Valley, where you will be amazed by the strange rock formations, named after their appearance: Finger of God, Sentinel, Express Train, Siamese, among others. A few kilometres further on is the confluence of the Traful and Limay rivers. Before crossing the bridge, we make a detour to stop at a scenic viewpoint. Through a beautiful cohiues forest, we will border Lake Traful, before arriving at a small village. Continuing on our path, we pass through Puerto Arrayan and El Portezuelo where the road joins with the famous "Route of the Seven Lakes", which we follow southwards, crossing dense forests and bordering the stunning Espejo Lake, to arrive at Villa la Angostura, where we spend some time before returning to Bariloche in the afternoon, via the Huemul Peninsula . Circuito Chico Tour
It is almost mandatory that the first excursion that takes place in Bariloche is the famous Circuito Chico, not only because it shows representative places of the mountain landscape, but also because in half a day one can know and fall in love with this city. The tour is made through Av. Ezequiel Bustillo, which with a winding route that goes around the Nahuel Huapi lake. As one moves away from the buildings, the landscape begins to change to appreciate the flora and forests of cypresses, maitenes, coihues and ñires, among other typical trees. In summer, this path takes on a vibrant red and yellow color because of the rosehip bushes, blackberry, raspberry and broom plants that bloom in abundance. At kilometer 17, there is the base of Cerro Campanario, which has a height of 1, 050 meters and has a chairlift (optional). Its summit has one of the eight most impressive panoramic views in the world. Near kilometer 24, you begin to see the San Eduardo Chapel, Puerto Pañuelo and the Llao Llao hotel. After passing through Villa Tacul and Lago Escondido, you reach the junction of lakes Nahuel Huapi and Perito Moreno, which is crossed by the Angostura bridge, located over the river of the same name. International Lake-Crossing Journey to Chile from Bariloche
The excursion begins with departure from the central area of Bariloche, using a bus to head towards Puerto Pañuelo, and subsequently, to Lake Nahuel Huapi . Upon reaching Puerto Pañuelo, participants will board a catamaran for lake navigation to Puerto Blest , providing an opportunity to appreciate the scenic surroundings and learn about the locale during the one-hour sailing period. Upon disembarking at Puerto Blest, participants will transfer to a bus destined for the Frías River border, leading to Puerto Alegre . Another boat transfer follows, navigating Lake Frías for approximately 20 minutes, culminating in port arrival and initiation of procedures for entry into Chile. The journey continues by bus through Pérez Rosales National Park , offering views of the noteworthy vegetation in the Andes Mountain range, until arriving at Peulla. A lunch break is scheduled here (lunch not included). Post-lunch, the route proceeds with a boat journey across Lake Todos los Santos to Petrohué. Tronador Hill Circuit Tour
Cerro Tronador is the highest elevation in the Nahuel Huapi National Park. With its eternal snows and hanging glaciers, you will not want to stop visiting it and also see for yourself the reason for its name. The walk starts from Bariloche, you take National Route 40 South, about 45 km, to cross the Pampa de Huenuleo and border Lake Gutiérrez, to cross the Pilmayen and Melgarejo streams. After passing through the “watershed”, we will cross the banks of Lake Mascardi until we reach the detour where the road to Tronador (gravel road) emerges. During this tour, the Mascardi lake is once again bordered by its west coast, until reaching the viewpoint of Isla Corazón. Later you will pass in front of Cerro Los Emparedados and border the upper Manso River until you reach Pampa Linda, from where you have one of the best views of Cerro Tronador. Then you cross part of the Vuriloches valley and finally, passing through a shady forest, you reach the Black Snowdrift. The tour culminates a little later at the foot of Cerro Tronador. The Cerro Tronador, with its 3, 454m, is the most important height of the Nahuel Huapi National Park, and has three peaks (International, Argentine and Chilean). Horse Riding Excursion with Lunch - Half-Day Tour
After being picked up from your hotel, you will soon arrive at the La Fragua Stand in San Ramon Ranch where we will welcome with mate, tea, coffee, sweets and juice. After a tasty breakfast, we will be provided with a little talk about the horses and the safety of themselves, how to ride and considerations to keep in mind for it. The morning ride takes place in the area of forest transition, having the ranch an east-west location which allows us to combine the transition forest with the steppe. The ride lasts 2 hours during which both will make watching wildlife in a natural way, be able to observe condors, guanacos, rheas and deer. Cerro Campanario and Llao Llao Peninsula
It is almost obligatory that the first excursion done in Bariloche be the famous Circuito Chico , not only because it shows such an abundance of the places in the mountain range, but also because visitors see and fall in love with this city in just half a day. Which borders Lake Nahuel Huapi with a winding layout. This beautiful water body, which is a sight in itself is the largest lake in the region and, with its 55, 700 hectares, is present almost all through the tour. The first stretch, in addition to urban architecture, includes the houses of pioneers, the Nautical Club and the Melipal neighborhood. As buildings are left behind, the scenery near the Nahuel Huapi begins to change. From this point, it shows off cypresses, maitenes, coihues and ñires, among other typical trees. In summer, this road acquires brilliant red and yellow colours from the rose hip bushes, blackberry and raspberry plants which bloom all around. 8 kilometres ahead, opposite Huemul Island , lies a beach called Bonita. Farther ahead, Serena Bay is reached, a small bathing resort with a boat ramp. At the 17th kilometre marker, stands the base of Mount Campanario, which reaches 1, 050 meters of height and whose summit may be accessed through a chairlift. Passing by the San Pedro Peninsula, the itinerary continues towards the Llao Llao Peninsula. At the 24th kilometer marker, the San Eduardo Chapel, Puerto Pañuelo and the Llao Llao Hotel may be spotted. Totally refurbished and with all its facilities open, the classical hotel is one of the best-known postcards in Bariloche, with panoramic sights of the National park and Lakes Perito Moreno and Nahuel Huapi. The Llao Llao Municipal Park protects forests of coihues and cañas colihues, as well as creepers, bushes and other trees, which may be seen when hiking along its trails. Then we arrive at Perito Moreno Lake . This is crossed by Bridge Angostura, over the river bearing the same name. This is the ideal spot to have a break and go down to the rocky beaches of both lakes, lying 150 meters from one another. The circuit also shows the mountaineers cemetery, the Swiss hamlet and, finally, the panoramic or vantage point over Lake Moreno, at the 40th kilometer marker. The way back begins at El Trébol Lagoon and continues to the joint with Bustillo Avenue, which leads back to the city centre.
