A trip to Koh Samui isn’t complete without island hopping. Discover beautiful coral reefs, swim amongst colorful marine life, and relax on pristine beaches as we take you from one tropical paradise to another on this full day snorkeling tour. We’ll start nice and early with a pick up from your accommodations before heading to Thong Krut Pier. From there, we’ll board a boat and make our way to Koh Tean, which is known for its marine life and coral reefs. Prep your snorkeling gear, jump off the boat, and swim with the friendly sea creatures. We’ll make the rounds, catching glimpses of White Rock Cave Island, Red Ant Island, and Matkhong Island, before stopping at Koh Madsum, otherwise known as Pig Island because of the wild (but friendly) pigs in the area. Take a few cute selfies with the piggies before we make our way to Koh Tean Marina Bay Resort for lunch. The aim of the game on this tour is to kick your football into every one of the 18 holes at this interesting tropical course. Our Amazing Mahouts The role of a Mahout has been around for thousands of years. Traditionally the role of mahout was passed from father to son. Many of our mahouts come from traditional families where previous generations have cared for elephants in trekking camps. Some have been mahouts for over 10 years starting as teenagers. Without the care given to the elephants by our amazing mahouts we would not be able to function. They have also been on a transformational journey with us and know that by using positive reinforcement, being kind and caring to our herd is the very best way to ensure happy elephants. We consider our elephants and our mahouts as family members. We are all in this together. Caring for elephants is almost a spiritual practice and each month our head mahout performs a beautiful ceremony known as Pakam chang to honor our herd and their ancestors.
