We will set off early in the morning via Route 7 towards Cacheuta, alongside the Mendoza River, featuring views of the majestic Cordón del Plata mountain range and Potrerillos . Next, we will continue on to Uspallata , a pre-Hispanic settlement of the Huarpe indigenous people , as well as the villages of Picheuta, Polvaredas, Punta de Vacas , and the former ski station Los Penitentes . We will then reach the Puente del Inca , a natural architectural formation with hot springs. Just a few kilometres further, at 2, 750 metres above sea level, lies the viewpoint of Cerro Aconcagua , the Colossus of the Americas , standing at an altitude of 6, 962 metres. Finally, we will arrive at Las Cuevas (the last Argentinian village at the Chilean border, situated 3, 200 metres above sea level), and if the weather and road conditions permit, we will conclude the excursion with a visit to the Christ the Redeemer monument . In the afternoon, there will be a stop for lunch at a local restaurant before returning to the hotel.
