We started the tour at the Temple of Santo Domingo de Guzmán, a monumental architectural complex of the Dominican Order, without a doubt one of the most beautiful examples of Baroque in Mexico. We continue on foot on the Tourist Walkway, from Santo Domingo de Guzmán and to the center of the City, where various museums, galleries, craft shops and restaurants are located. We continue our tour on foot and we will arrive at a chocolate shop, where in addition to knowing how Oaxacan chocolate is prepared, we will be able to do our own grinding. We will also visit the Benito Juárez Market, the most traditional in the city, where you can buy the famous "Oaxaqueño Mole", Quesillo and Chapulines. Monte Alban, Black Pottery and Alebrijes
Monte Albán is the biggest Zapotec urban centre, was built in Oaxaca and that's because these ruins are the most important in the entire state. It takes part of the World Heritage list UNESCO, this place is going to be our first stop. Arrazola is an artisan town. The shapes made of Copal are fantastically carved and painted, called Alebrijes. Our next stop is Cuilápam de Guerrero, in the XVI century it was a Dominican monastery, we can see the open chapel, the place where General Vicente Guerrero was shot. Traditional Alebrijes Painiting Workshop
Discover the land of Alebrijes: San Martıń Tilcajete, where you will learn about the process of making figures, carving, and painting an Alebrije (brightly coloured Mexican folk art sculptures of fantastical creatures). With the help of an expert, you’ll follow the steps of making these figures into whatever your imagination can think of! Examples include small animals, pegasus, aliens, and mythical creatures. During the activity, you will be provided with a small wooden figure, a brush, and paint. You will have 90-minutes to let your imagination go wild as you decorate your Alebrije, all with the support of an expert. Don't worry, if you don´t have time to finish your figure, you can take it with you and continue painting it from home. You will learn time-held traditions by the artisans of the community inherited by their ancestors. Hierve el Agua and Teotitlán del Valle

San José del Pacífico Tour
The road shows us the magnificent biodiversity of the Sierra Sur de Oaxaca. Walking Tour through Oaxaca and Sunday Market

Our last stop is Tlacolula, we will walk through the traditional market, colourful and varied, this fascinating place is in the main Street of the town and Sundays only. This is the closest example of a pre-Hispanic market because a lot of Indians are involved in the sale.
