Day 1| Madrid – Merida – Cordoba Get ready for the adventure of a lifetime as we depart from our established hotels in Madrid! We'll be heading west via the highway towards Extremadura, the birthplace of several explorers of the New World . Arrival in Merida , the capital of Extremadura. Declared a World Heritage Site , Merida is known for its rich historical heritage, including its well-preserved Roman ruins: the theater, the amphitheater, the Roman bridge, and more. Later, you'll have time to discover the exclusive views and specific ambience of this vibrant city, at your own pace. Then, after a short ride, we'll reach Córdoba, once the capital of the Caliphate . Accommodation: 4-star hotel or Superior 4-star hotel depending on the option selected. Overnight in Cordoba with breakfast included. Day 2| Cordoba – Seville After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a unique c ity tour including its impressive “Mosque” , today a Cathedral, and other sites that will ease our mind and spirit strolling through its narrow winding streets of the Jewish Quarter . Accommodation: 4-star hotel or Superior 4-star hotel depending on the option selected. Overnight in Seville with breakfast included. Day 3| Seville Starting with a delicious breakfast at the hotel, before an invigorating morning panoramic city tour. You'll be amazed by the Cathedral (the second largest in the Catholic world after St. Peters in Rome), and you'll love the Santa Cruz quarter (a natural setting for "Carmen" as well as the place where the myth of "Don Juan" developed). You'll also get to see the stunning Maria Luisa Park and Plaza de España . During the afternoon, you'll have time to discover the exclusive views and specific ambience of this vibrant city, at your own pace. There’s also an optional Flamenco show . Day 4| Seville – Madrid Following breakfast at the hotel, we will depart at the scheduled time, transfer from the hotel to Santa Justa Station to board the high-speed train to Madrid . We will then continue our journey back to Madrid. Important information Please note that on day 4, there is no tour director assistance.
