    Leaving Palenque, you will take a scenic journey towards the archaeological site of Bonampak. Hidden in the heart of the Lacandona Jungle, this ancient site not only offers a great insight into the Mayan culture, but you can admire the most preserved murals of the Mayan World, dating back to 790 A.D. After some time to exploring the various ruins, you will head to Frontera Crozal, located on the broad Rio Usumacinta, which serves as the Mexico and Guatemala border.
