After being picked up at your hotel, we will take you directly to the Plaza de la Liberacion in downtown Guadalajara where you will be able to witness the very moving ceremony of the lowering of the Flag. The respect and love of Mexicans for their flag is reflected in this 20 minute ceremony in which the flag is lowered slowly from the pole, with all the honours, and stored away for the night in the Government Palace. From here you will go for a pleasant guided stroll in the environs of the Plaza Tapatia, in the heart of the city, admiring the beautiful Colonial and Independence buildings and mingling with the locals as they go on their evening paseo. Then you will go to a romantic local restaurant for a three-course candlelit dinner with beer, wine and margaritas. After dinner, enjoy a drive around the brightly-lit streets before you are dropped off at your hotel. Languages English, French, German, Spanish and Italian. Inclusions: 3 courses dinner.
