THE EMERALD DAWN are a multi-instrumentalist, symphonic/eclectic progressive music quartet, who combine elements from rock, classical music, jazz, folk and world music to produce their own original, distinctive and exciting sound—a sound that is cinematic, epic, experimental and powerful. Alan Fletcher has worked as an actor and musician for more than 45 years in Australia and the United Kingdom. As an actor, Alan is a household name because of his portrayal of Dr Karl Kennedy for 30 years on the iconic Australian drama Neighbours. As a musician, Alan has performed as a front man for rock band Waiting Room that played a weekly residency in Melbourne for twelve years and toured the UK ten times over eight years. In 2020 Alan moved away from Rock and commenced a solo career in Americana/ Alt-Country and Folk. Collaborating with producers Lachlan Bryan and Damian Cafarella Alan’s releases include the EP ‘Dispatches in 2023, an album ‘The Point’ in 2024 and his latest album ‘Back to School’ in February

Like an intergalactic troubadour who crash-landed last century, Joshua Burnell makes retro chamber pop for the modern world. Fresh off the back of a UK tour including a growing number of sold out dates, Burnell is unleashing his second tour and album this year: Condor Keep & Other Stories. Born in France, but raised on the move, including years in Linlithgow, Kendal and Yorkshire, the eclecticism of Joshua’s influences mirrors this restless movement. There are shades of 70s rock, singer-songwriter folk and classical sophistication drawn together with a bookish edge. His music has been compared to The Decemberists, Al Stewart and The Observer wrote: “much of it would fit comfortably in a Peter Gabriel-era Genesis set.” His show feels like poring over an anthology of otherworldly tales yet with the flamboyance and emotion of a stadium rock show. Sensitive to the social challenges we all face in today’s age, Joshua creates universes to offer both a temporary escape but also to reflect today’s injustices through his characters and stories with the understanding that bringing people together is the remedy. The standing ovation he received at Fairport’s Cropredy Convention amongst numerous festivals is testament that people are starting to connect with this relentlessly creative artist. The Escape From Condor Keep Tour spans across the UK and Europe, with some dates already sold out - one of them (aptly) a medieval keep in the Netherlands. Mike Massé is an internationally acclaimed artist and arranger who performs epic acoustic classic rock. He is a YouTube icon with over 160 million channel views. Legends of rock like Toto, Boston, Sarah McLachlan, Styx, Rush, Berlin, Asia, and others have expressed love and gratitude for his acoustic renditions of their songs. Toto cites his acoustic cover of “Africa” as their favorite. Mike initially gained notoriety for his performances posted on his widely viewed YouTube channel. The success of that channel allowed him to quit his day job as a public defender after 13 years and move his family to Denver to become a full-time musician who performs around the world. Mike’s acoustic arrangements are praised for their originality, creativity, accuracy and simplicity. He is careful to remain true to what is beloved about the original recordings, while bringing his own masterful musical flair to each rendition. His YouTube success has led to other musical opportunities, like singing with original members of the band Boston doing a set of all classic Boston songs, some of the most challenging rock vocals ever recorded. Mike and his Beatles band Rubber Souls have presented a show of Beatles’ music accompanied by the Denver Pops Orchestra, recreating the authentic orchestral arrangements to the delight of audiences of all ages. He appeared in a national television commercial for Google, a tribute to Prince that aired during the Grammys. His famous cover of Toto’s “Africa” was parodied on TBS’ “American Dad,” officially making Mike Massé and Jeff Hall a pop culture reference. Mark Olson was born and raised in Minnesota by a family of mostly farmers and schoolteachers. Predominately a self-taught musician, Olson is well known for his use of alternate tunings and two-part unison singing that then breaks into harmony. He founded the Jayhawks in 1985 in Minneapolis.
